Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026
YES, IF provides private deal-recovery rooms where a seller can invite a buyer to describe the conditions that would make an offer work. This policy explains the information the service handles and why.
Information we collect
- Your seller email address, securely salted password hashes, email-verification records, and secure session records. We send verification and password reset links through our email delivery provider. We do not store your plain-text password.
- Deal information entered by a seller, including buyer or company name, project, value, original terms, and link expiration date.
- Conditions submitted by a buyer, including price, timing, scope, certainty, notes, the buyer's acknowledgment, agreement version/time, and payment declarations. We retain the seller’s agreement version/time/account offer-review acknowledgments, and disclosed fee for rooms under the completion-reporting policy.
- Basic technical and security information needed to deliver the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect accounts.
- Billing and subscription status, prepaid order/payment references, verified room allowances, expiry, activation usage and refund/dispute status from the payment processor when paid membership is enabled. YES, IF does not store full payment-card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to operate rescue rooms, show each seller only the deals they own, deliver buyer conditions to that seller, maintain an activity record, deliver payment-reporting reminders, investigate disputed declarations or fee evasion, support the service, process membership, and protect the service from misuse. We do not sell personal information or use private deal contents for advertising.
Who can see deal information
A seller can see only rescue rooms associated with that seller's signed-in account. A buyer can open the unexpired private room link they received and cannot see other buyers' responses or seller workspaces. A secure, HTTP-only browser receipt lets the original response browser view its submitted conditions and report payment after acceptance, for up to one year unless the record is removed. Clearing that receipt removes browser access; contact support for assistance. Authorized support personnel may review agreements and declarations for billing disputes or suspected evasion. Anyone who receives a valid private link may be able to open it, so sellers should share links carefully.
Service providers and security
Stripe processes membership payments and separately billed recovery fees. We use service providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, security, and payment processing. They may process information as needed to provide those services or comply with law. We use reasonable safeguards, including account access controls and private links, but no online service can guarantee complete security.
Retention and deletion
Rescue-room information is retained while needed to provide the service and maintain legitimate business and security records. Deleting a rescue room removes it, its buyer responses, and its activity history from the active service and disables its private link. Rooms with opened offers under a paid-deal reporting agreement or financial history require support assistance instead of self-service deletion. Limited records may remain in provider backups or be retained when required for fraud prevention, billing, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. Support requests include your reply email and message and are retained while needed to handle your request and related business records.
Your choices
Do not submit information you do not want the seller to receive. Sellers can delete individual rescue rooms from their workspace. Account, access, correction, or privacy requests can be sent to getyesif@gmail.com or through our Support / Contact form.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
